Please Do Not Feed

Life is scary, we all agree, but sometimes, (and we’ve all been there), our minds can take us on such a bum ride!  When we’re worried and fearful, it seems to be a magnet for just more worry and fears. And who hasn’t faced what they are worried about, whether it’s a tricky relationship ‘talk’, a job interview, a family function or a suspicious little bump, to say afterwards  “oh I can’t believe I drove myself so crazy with worry, that wasn’t so bad after all!” Yes we’ve all been there.  So what’s a girl to do?  Well we don’t like making assumptions, but in this case we will assume that if you are reading this you have a creative mind and nothing soothes a creative mind more than being creative!  Yup, it’s that simple.  So the next  time you’re mind f__ing  yourself try one of these no fail remedies;
  

1. Break out your journal!  Get it out of your head and down on paper, trust us, it will seem so much less overwhelming!

2. Get outside! Bike, walk, run, go take a yoga class (OM) or a Zumba class (it’s crazy fun) we guarantee it will ease your mind.

3. Paint, collage, bake, re-arrange the furniture, whatever your favorite creative activity is, do it! Stop dwelling!

Here’s some insight we found on fear. We don’t know who said them so unfortunately we cannot give credit, but we think they’re all brilliant.  Post them on your mirror!!!

FEAR IS THE BIGGEST INHIBITOR OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT

OUR FEARS ARE MORE NUMEROUS THAN OUR DANGERS,  AND WE SUFFER  MORE IN OUR IMAGINATION THAN IN REALITY

FEAR IS THE DARKROOM OF YOUR NEGATIVE DEVELOPMENT
